The FBI has released over 100 pages of unreleased documents related to the Biggie murder case. Feds are saying that a number of gang-affiliated officers working with the L.A.P.D may have helped the shooter’s get away. Feds also think the same ones disrupted the rest of the investigation by not following up with witness reports. That’s not all though!

In the new paperwork, it’s revealed Biggie was shot by Gecko 9mm armor-piercing ammunition; which is rare. According to hiphopwired.com, police later searched the home of an unnamed bloods gang member reportedly involved in the crime and recovered a 9mm handgun and Gecko rounds. According to the documents though, tests were never run on anything found.
