Lil Wayne has to pay up. The Young Money General has been ordered to drop $2.2 million after losing a lawsuit against filmmaker Quincy Jones III.

Weezy was told by a judge to come out of pocket following a countersuit by Jones claiming that the multi-platinum MC stopped the release of his Lil Wayne-based documentary, The Carter, according to TMZ.

The ruling comes after Wayne’s infamous video deposition, which showed the eccentric rapper in a combative, over-the-top mood, at times even dissing (and apparently threatening) the lawyer. The footage had become a viral sensation. However, the judge overseeing the lawsuit was not impressed. Wayne was called out for his “unreasonable conduct in the deposition.”

Lil Wayne originally sued Jones for what he deemed as a “scandalous portrayal” of the tatted-up MC in the 2009 bio documentary The Carter as well as alleged unauthorized usage of his music.
