Young Jeezy, who released the controversial “My President Is Black” after President Obama’s election win in 2008, has released another pro-Obama song, “We Done It Again.”
This is for every ghetto in the world,” Jeez begins, “every little boy and little girl/ I might not know you but I feel your pain/ So for real I’m making it rain/ We waitin’ on a savior maybe Barack…/It’s us against the world, we done it again…”
Listen to the song here.
Jeezy files behind a list of artists who have recently released records in which they sing the praises of President Obama. Last week, Stevie Wonder dropped his latest song, “Keep Moving Forward.”, which was dedicated to the president.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z remixed his 99 Problems song with a message for Mitt Romney, at a campaign rally in Ohio the day before polls opened.
“If you’re having world problems I feel bad for you son,” he rapped “I got 99 problems but Mitt ain’t one.”
Back in April, President Obama shouted out Young Jeezy at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
“In my first term, I sang Al Green,” Obama said. “In my second term I’m going with Young Jeezy. Michelle said yeah,” he continued, echoing Jeezy’s trademark, “yeeeeeeah” ad lib. “I sing that to Michelle sometime.”
