Justin Bieber has been getting a lot of heat for his wardrobe choices lately.

On Friday, the Biebs met Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Clad in overalls and a backwards baseball hat, Bieber has been reamed by critics for his choice of attire. While some took to the Internet to show their disgust, fans didn’t seem to mind.

Despite poking fun at Bieber, some fans feel he can do no wrong.

While journalists and bloggers like Hayley Peterson questioned Bieber’s outfit choice he defended himself on his Instagram account and later on Twitter.

“The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena where i was performing at that day,” he wrote. “I walked straight from my meet and greet to him, if you “Hayley” expect me to have a change of clothes let a loan a suit at that specific time that’s crazy, It wasn’t like it was like I was going into his environment we were at a hockey arena. Wow am i ever white trash hayley peterson lol.”
