The nominations for the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards have been announced and there are a lot of happy musicians out there sharing their excitement with the Twitter-verse.

Even though the guys of fun.  earned themselves six, count them six nominations, they had no interest in patting themselves on the back for a job well done. Instead they shouted out their fellow musician friend, classical music composer Nico Muhly, who helped them out with their performance of “We Are Young” at last night’s GRAMMY Nominations concert in Nashville, Tennessee.

Kelly Clarkson, who was nominated for four awards, wasn’t even awake when the nominations were announced, but luckily her friends surprised her with the news in the wee hours of the morning and a few celebratory drinks.

The Voice
judge, Blake Shelton also needed someone else, this time a fan, to let him know he had been nominated, but seemed much more excited about his wife’s nomination.

Florence Welch’s reaction to her two GRAMMY nominations gets two thumbs up.

Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine, on the other hand, held nothing back with his response to being honored.

Kimbra earned three nominations for her work with Gotye on “Somebody I Used To Know” and seemed completely shocked.

While Taylor Swift, who earned three nominations, two of them for her song “Safe & Sound” from The Hunger Games soundtrack, was left feeling like a girl on fire.
