Eminem Comes Clean About His Drug Use and Overdose [Video]
EMINEM is ready to completely clean out his closet…
“My name is Marshall, I’m an addict.” And so begins the documentary How To Make Money Selling Drugs.
Em has never shied away from revealing his addiction to prescription drugs, including Vicodin and Xanax — hell, he even named two of his albums Relapse and Recovery – but in this new flick, Slim Shady bares his soul, admitting the severity of his addiction and how it almost KILLED him.
Eminem began, as most addicts, as a casual drug user. Soon, however, he found that he not only liked the high — but that ANYONE who dared question his drug use — was immediately BANISHED from his life. He believed that, if he wasn’t shooting heroin or snorting coke, then he really wasn’t a junkie.
Shady takes us through the night he mixed too many pills and OVERDOSED, “Had I got to the hospital about two hours later, I would have died. My organs were shutting down. My liver, kidneys, everything. They were gonna have to put me on dialysis. They didn’t think I was gonna make it. My bottom was gonna be death.”
A month after leaving the hospital, he relapsed, hard.
Em credits his three children for saving his life.
He was able to quit drugs through his own rigorous detox program that left him unable to function, “Coming off everything, I was 24 hours a day for three weeks straight, and I mean, not sleeping, not even nodding off for a f**king minute. I had to regain motor skills; I had to regain talking skills.”
How To Make Money Selling Drugs opens today in L.A.
It’s rumored Em — will drop a NEW ALBUM — before the end of the year!!!
